Frequently Asked Questions

Before you take action.

Can you assist with both rental arrears and eviction?

Yes. We assess the recovery claim and the occupation issue separately and explain the appropriate steps for each.

Can I change the locks or remove an occupier myself?

Do not take steps to remove an occupier or interfere with possession without advice on the lawful process. Eviction requires the appropriate court process and order.

Do you assist bodies corporate with levy recovery?

Yes. Send the account statement, relevant scheme documents, correspondence and details of previous recovery steps so we can assess the instruction.

Do you also assist tenants and individual owners?

Yes. We consider instructions from tenants, owners and co-owners, subject to a conflict check and the scope of the matter.

What documents should I send?

Send the lease or agreement, relevant notices, correspondence, statements, proof of payments and any existing court or CSOS documents. Include the property address and a brief timeline.

How are fees agreed?

The firm discusses the proposed work and applicable fees before commencing the agreed instruction. Further proceedings and external expenses are discussed separately.
